Food & Beverage
Fuel up with unique menu items throughout Boston Fan Zone. The Grove at the Lawn on D and the standard concessions area under the main tent offer a wide variety of both standard and elevated menu items through our food and beverage partner Rebel Restaurants. The (400) Lot on D will also host local food trucks during select matches for a more casual experience.
Public Safety
The MCCA Public Safety Department continuously delivers an unwavering commitment to the safety and security of all guests at our venues. This summer’s Boston Fan Zone has undergone extensive safety planning with multiple key stakeholders, including law enforcement and other first responder partner agencies. Guests attending these events can expect to experience an inclusive atmosphere and a consistent high level of service from the MCCA Public Safety Department. Physical security screening checkpoints, with mandatory bag searches, will be implemented for all those attending. Items such as, but not limited to: coolers, fireworks, flares, air horns, etc… will not be allowed into the event space.

- Weapons of any kind
- Explosives, detonators
- Work tools of any kind
- Body protection gear
- Sports equipment items
- Paper or any rolls of paper
- Toxic, radioactive, caustic or corrosive materials
- Spray cans, corrosive and flammable substances. Aerosol cylinders, thermoses and flasks
- Other inflated or inflatable items, such as balloons
- Powdery substances, flour or similar substances
- Any other object which could be used as a weapon or as a projectile or any object which could endanger the safety of others
- Bottles, cups, jars, cans that may be thrown or cause injury, as well as other objects made of glass or any other breakable material
- Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, kick scooters, and electric scooters
- Helmets and or items specifically designed for concealing a person’s identity, except for religious headwear, medical masks and face shields
- Any type of animal, except for service animals as defined by law
- Except for cigarettes and electronic tobacco smoking devices which may be possessed but not used within the Event, any materials, articles or objects (including self-made items), the use of which can result in the generation of smoke, heat and/or flames including lighters, matches, fireworks, flares, small bombs and other smoke-emitting articles, compressed and liquefied gases, combustible solids, poisonous or noxious or pungent substances, oxidizing substances and organic peroxides
Food / Liquids / Consumable Items
- (exception of hand sanitizers no larger than 100 ml), any liquids containing alcohol
- Any other liquids exceeding 100ml
- Food items of any kind
- Drugs, narcotics or stimulants of any kind
Flags and Political / Offensive / Commercial Items
- Any materials, including but not limited to banners, flags, fliers, apparel and other paraphernalia, that are of a political, offensive and/or discriminatory nature, containing wording, symbols or other attributes aimed at discrimination of any kind against a country, private person or group on account of race, skin color, ethnicity, national or social origin, gender identity and expression, disability, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, birth, wealth or any other status, sexual orientation or on any other grounds
- Flags, banners or posters except those that do not exceed 2 meters x 1.5 meters (78 inches x 60 inches)
- Flagpoles exceeding 1 meter in length or 1 cm in diameter and pom-pom shakers
- Any promotional or commericial object
Electronic, Musical and Telecommunication Items
- Radio-electronic or high frequency devices
- Any types of mounts for photo and video equipment
- Drones, unmanned aircraft systems and any remote-controlled aircraft
- Instruments that emit laser beams, laser pointers or similar emissions
- More than one set of extra batteries or rechargeable units for any device
- Any musical instrument (mechanical or manual) that cannot be fully visualized by security or that are larger than 12cm x 12cm x 12cm (4.7 inches x 4.7 inches x 4.7 inches)
- Electronic, mechanical or manual devices that produce noise or other excessively loud sounds, Heaters for drums
Other Prohibited Items
- Any other objects that may compromise public safety, cause nuisance and/or harm to the guest experience, as determined by the MCCA at their absolute discretion.
MCCA Public Safety Department staff and other first responder resources will be strategically located throughout event space to assist with access control, crowd management, customer service, and other critical functions to support a safe event space for all.
