Special events at the BCEC

BCEC’s 40,020-square-foot, column-free ballroom features 32-foot ceilings and is specifically designed to accommodate high-level performances with top-of-the-line sound, lighting, and rigging capabilities.

This elegant and dramatic space can accommodate up to 3,000 people for a formal or casual plated dinner or 5,000+ for a standing reception or a theater-style presentation.

The ballroom pre-function area offers sweeping panoramic views of Boston’s harbor and skyline.

BCEC’s junior ballroom (Meeting room 210) on Level 2 is a great choice for smaller groups and perfect for meetings, seminars, and formal dinner functions. The room can be divided into six different configurations and accommodates up to 1,856 guests.

Another truly memorable event location at the BCEC is the grand, two-story North Lobby. The space is ideal for dynamic receptions and cocktail parties, and features a 160-foot Video Wall, offering 2,000 square feet of seamless, attention-grabbing video real estate. The Video Wall can be used as a way to dramatically enhance your event’s décor with color and animation, deliver high-impact messages, or showcase sponsors.

Special events at the Hynes

Hynes’ 25,544-square-foot ballroom features vaulted ceilings and state-of-the-art sound system. The space is extremely flexible and can be used in a variety of different ways: it can seat up a total of 3,190 people for general sessions and 2,000 with banquet seating, or be subdivided into three smaller areas seating 906-1,408 people each.

Another impressive space at the Hynes is the Boylston Hallway on Level 3. This unique pre-function area features floor to ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light and overlooking Boston’s historic Back Bay.

Whether you’re hosting an event for 10 or 10,000, our exclusive food and beverage partner, Levy Restaurants, is here to help turn your special event into a truly unforgettable affair. Their menus are specifically designed to give your guests the ultimate New England experience and feature up to 75% locally sourced ingredients (depending on the season). They offer accommodations for individual and group dietary requirements, as well as linen service, décor, and bar service.
