Get Ready for the Pickleball Event of the Summer!
The Citizens Pickleball Open is a first of its kind charity pickleball tournament in Boston happening at The Lawn On D Powered by Citizens this August 25! This “World Cup” style tournament will feature influencers, athletes, and pickleball professionals and benefit the Greater Boston Y. This unforgettable end-of-summer experience will be fully immersive in nature and is open to the general public.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Greater Boston YMCA Activation
Youth pickleball skills clinic with professional pickleball instructors. Clinic in partnership Pickleball Cares instructors.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Citizens Pickleball Open Tournament
Come watch the exciting 6 team round robin event featuring professional pickleball players, Boston based athletes, and influencers.
5:00 pm - 8:30 pm: Move Studios Programing
Get your sweat on! Join Move Studios for 1 of 2 exciting workout classes they will be hosting on The Lawn.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Mixer on the Lawn (Food & Beverage available for purchase)
Hang out for the night and mingle on The Lawn. You’ll never know what special guests may make an appearance!
In addition to being the title sponsor of the Citizens Pickleball Open, Citizens will also be on the ground with some fun activations for Lawn guests. Make sure to stop by their kiosk and play some fun games or go strike a pose in their Citizens photobooth!

Two Toned Training was started by two sisters looking to bring a unique sense of inclusivity and excitement to what can be an intimidating atmosphere to many. Their boot camp style workouts can be easily modified to cater to a wide range of fitness levels. They’re known in the Boston area for their light-up workouts, over the top energy and their contagious passion for fitness and community. This dynamic duo brings LIGHT to any/every experience.
Pickleball Cares is a passionate non-profit organization with the bold mission to impact lives through Pickleball – from players of all skill levels to the communities that support the game. At Pickleball Cares, we envision a world where every child, regardless of background or circumstance, has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of pickleball. We aim to introduce the game and offer mentorship to youth, in order to provide them with transformative opportunities for education, health, self-confidence, and well-being.
