Exciting New Additions to Boston’s Airport Dining Scene

Boston Logan food

Last year, we introduced you to some of the outstanding dining options that can be found at Boston Logan International Airport. But there’s more: Last month, MarketPlace Logan, the developer and manager of its concessions program, announced that a dozen additional local and regional brands are slated to open locations at Boston Logan in late 2018 and 2019.

North End’s famous Lucca Restaurant & Bar and the iconic Kelly’s Roast Beef, a family-friendly restaurant specializing in seafood, sandwiches, and legendary roast beef, will open for business at Terminal B before the end of 2018.
And in 2019 more local favorites like chef Michael Schlow’s Alta Strada and Tico restaurants, Jody Adams’ Saloniki Greek and Trade, as well as Sullivan’s Castle Island, B.Good, Santarpio’s Pizza, Not Your Average Joe’s, and more, will be added to Logan’s extensive list of concessions.

Boston Logan will also get new, branded Celtics and Bruins bars and the first-ever New Balance airport retail store.

What’s more, according to the Boston Globe, a 6,000-square-feet Boston Public Market outpost will replace the current food court in Terminal C and will feature at least six vendors from the original location in Downtown Boston. The new marketplace will have everything from sit-down meals to grab-and-go items, plus a salad bar with local produce and a market bar with craft beer and wines.

“Our team has been working diligently to welcome these iconic brands and local favorites to our hometown airport,” said MarketPlace Development President Paul McGinn. “Through our collaboration with Massport we are committed to bringing local flavor to Boston Logan passengers for a true Boston and New England experience each time they visit the airport.”
